5 STEPS TO BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE AND HELP YOU REACH SUCCESS!

“Go ahead, don’t be afraid, you must trust yourself” Bla bla bla…

We hear this advice all the time! Although it is soooo difficult to apply… But why?

Because you must trust own abilities & above all LOVE YOURSELF!!!

Sometimes we don’t love ourselves as much as we should, we underestimate ourselves and this has an impact on our behavior and our way to interact with others.

Here is 5 steps to help you boost your confidence and help you reach success:

1)LOOK AT WHAT YOU’VE ALREADY ACHIEVED:

Think about your life so far, and list the best things you’ve achieved. Perhaps you came top in an important test or exam, played a key role in an important team, did something that made a big difference in someone else’s life, or delivered a project that meant a lot for your business.

Write this down so you can look at it often and then spend a few minutes each week enjoying the success you’ve already had!

2)THINK ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS:

Make a S.W.O.T analysis of yourself to take a look at who and where you are. Looking at your achievement and reflecting on your life, ask your friends or your family what they would consider to be your strengths and weaknesses.

From these, think about the opportunities and threats you face.

Make sure you enjoy a few minutes reflecting on your strengths!

3)WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU AND WHERE  DO YOU WANT TO GO?

What are your passions? What do you want to achieve in life?

Setting and achieving goals is a key part of this, and real confidence comes from this.

Goal setting is the process you use to set yourself targets, and measure your success hitting those targets. Set goals that exploit your strengths, minimize your weaknesses, realize your opportunities and control the threats you face.

Having set the major goals in your life, identify the first step in each even if it’s a small step as long as it pulls you toward what you want to accomplish in your life.

4)START MANAGING YOUR MIND AND THINK POSITIVE !

Learn to pick up and defeat the negative self-talk which can destroy your confidence.

Think positive, keep celebrating and enjoying success and keep those mental images strong.

On the other side, learn to handle failure. Accept that mistakes happen when you’re trying something new. In fact, if you get into the habit of treating mistakes as learning experiences, you can start to see them in a positive light. After all, there’s a lot to be said for the saying “what doesn’t kill you make you stronger!”

5) COMMIT YOURSELF TO SUCCESS!

As long as you keep on stretching yourself enough, but not too much, you’ll find your self-confidence building space because you’ll have put in the necessary hard work to become successful.

Make a clear promise to yourself that you are absolutely committed to success and that you will do all in your power to fulfill your wildest dreams.
